VCS Visitor Counting System
|
In the Museum environment, where high volumes of adults and children are visiting every day, we have over a decade of experience in ensuring our systems achieve consistent levels of accuracy enabling accurate and acknowledged visitor reporting to bodies such as the Department of Culture, Media and Sport. For example, the Intelligent Counting VCS [Visitor Counting System] is operating at a number of national Museums in London, where a large percentage of the 2 million plus annual visitors are children. Often arriving in large groups throughout the day, this requires a robust, accurate and consistent visitor counting system to ensure the large volumes are reflected in the visitor number reporting being completed behind the scenes.

Intelligent Counting understands that Museums have unique environments often with distinctive architectural constraints. In the case of one Contemporary Gallery, iC worked closely from the initial concept stage with the appointed architects to achieve an installation which is not only aesthetically in keeping with the unique look and feel of this gallery but also achieves the consistent level of accuracy in excess of 95% at a height of over 7 metres where there is a low level of ambient lighting.
The matchless combination of the iC-Sensor and the managed service iC-VisiTrak delivers, via the interactive web enabled reporting tool - iC-Reports, the key measure of visitor counts throughout your organisation.
iC-VisiTrak
|
The iC-VisiTrak system is a managed service which includes pro-active monitoring of the system, 24/7 access to iC-Reports via the web with an unlimited number of users. Every user has all the recognised benefits of an automatic visitor counting system with data from the iC-Sensors being collected and reported on by Doorway and/or Zone by name.
The extensive reporting offered through iC-Reports, delivers valuable information regarding visitor movement, quickly identifying which areas or zones are proving most popular with visitors and other vital information to assist in enhancing the visitor experience. For example, specific galleries can be zoned to measure the rate of visitors, this is of particular interest where a company sponsor is keen to understand the success of their exhibition.
The modular nature of the system enables iC-Sensors to be added at any time or relocated into a new area or doorway, giving the Visitor Counting System an inbuilt ability to flex and expand.
