Corporate & Social Responsibilities
At Intelligent Counting we believe strongly in the concept of “global citizenship” and actively work to fulfil our role in society as well as our more conventional obligations. A basic tenet of our company culture is that we should be seen as both honourable and professional in our dealings with clients and suppliers.
i
C
has developed relationships with local suppliers and artisans to support the community within which we are located and to reduce our overall carbon footprint.
We have developed our products specifically to be remotely managed and modular in nature. This means that at the macro level (in addition to the Channel Partner programme), in new operating locations we work with clients to leverage their existing support infrastructure so that any local support requirements can be satisfied by a local resource under direction from the
i
C
Helpdesk. This enables the same level of support for our clients in a cost effective manner with a mutually beneficial reduction in air travel and carbon footprint.
At the micro level, all

-Sensors are packaged in reusable, recyclable cardboard boxes and we do not issue paper manuals for our products, instead providing online reference documentation.
As a company that relies on accurate figures,
i
C
also has an ongoing initiative to promote the use of mathematics in schools and performs presentations to groups of Year 10 to Year 13 children to introduce them to what numbers can be used to achieve in a real world environment.
